Hoylake Village Life started in the Autumn of 2009 in response to the decline of the retail offering in Hoylake, prompted by the recession and other factors which forced many local businesses, especially shops, into an impossible trading environment.

It is clear that Hoylake is a place that its residents love, and to see our village in decline is frustrating. But we believe the answers lie in the hands of the community. So that's why we are exploring possibilities such as empty shops projects, discussing options with landlords and agents, and inviting interested parties to occupy those premises.
