Hoylake Photographic Society was founded in 1951 when the club's main aim was the advancement of the Art and Science of Photography.

Dennis Spicer runs 10-week life drawing courses at 1.00 pm and 7.00 pm on Tuesdays at Melrose Hall (third Tuesday evening of the month excepted). The cost is £7.50 per session.

Allowing outselves to 'play' involves feelings of pleasure, freedom, spontaneity and relaxation.  The transformative power of Art is all in the process of making art purely for the joy of creating.

Jo Smith, local artist and therapist, offers you the opportunity to Create Authentic Art for Health and Wellbeing at her Seagrass Studio Gallery in Hoylake.  She will help you to have fun, relax and rediscover your creative instincts. 

In Stitches is a project that offers encouragement and advice with knitting, crotchet, cross stitch embroidery and sewing.  Everyone is welcome.

Melrose Art Club meets every Monday from 10.00 a.m.-12.00 noon.

Sessions take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month and run from 2.30 p.m.-4.30 p.m.  The cost is £2.00 per session, which includes a cup of tea or coffee.

Local artist, Jo Smith, offers a Saturday morning art class from 9.30 a.m.-11.00 a.m. for children age 8-12 at her Seagrass Studio and Gallery in Hoylake. 

The price is £9.00 per session and includes all materials.  This is a small, friendly group for a maximum of 6 children.  Spaces are currently available.
