<p>Pam and Les Bell, the proprietors, have been self-employed for more than thirty years.  This new venture has come after a two-year semi-retirement.  They formerly owned Maples Coffee Shop in St  Werburgh's Square in Birkenhead from 1997-2008.  This was a family-run business which included themselves, their daughter and Pam's mother.  Now in her mid-eighties, Pam's mother has even made an appearance at Chantilly in her usual role of washing dishes.</p>
