<p>The Plasterers Arms is a traditional unspoilt local pub in the historic residential quarter of the village.  The pub, which is around 200 years old, is run by licensees Stan and Pam, and has a single bar serving a lounge, snug and beer garden.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>The original Punch Bowl was the oldest Inn in Hoylake, dating back to mid-Victorian times and consisted of a small thatched cottage that jutted into Market Street.  However, by the early twentieth century Market Street had become much busier and the cottage created a bottle-neck for traffic.</p>
