The Plasterers Arms is a traditional unspoilt local pub in the historic residential quarter of the village.  The pub, which is around 200 years old, is run by licensees Stan and Pam, and has a single bar serving a lounge, snug and beer garden.

The Ship Inn is a famous local landmark set back from Market Street in the heart of Hoylake.  Although the building has been altered over the years, the original part is around 280 years old.

Hoylake Lights is a thriving JD Wetherspoon's pub on Market Street, and a popular stop on the way to nearby bars.  Hoylake Lights has a bar area near the front and a large seating area at the rear.
