Incredible Edible Hoylake, begun by Rose Chandler (Hoylake Allotments) and Sally Scott is a new project to produce locally grown food.  Inspired by Incredible Edible Todmorden in the Yorkshire town of Todmorden, the aim is to use spare land to enable people to grow their own food and feed their own community. 

There are now many small areas of unused land around Hoylake planted with salads, vegetable and fruit, as well as planters on the train station platform, from which local people can pick the ripe produce and take it home to enjoy.
