The Concourse Health and Leisure Centre is situated beside the A540, next to the railway station, and is served by numerous bus routes including the numbers 22, 23, 39, 181, and 186. There is also a large car park behind the Health Centre on Orrysdale Road.

These practices moved to the Concourse from their old surgeries at the end of 1976 so that patients could benefit from the wide range of services available. There is easy access for wheelchairs and there are purpose-built toilets for the disabled.

The practices at the Health Centre are:

Drs Wells, Briggs, Forsdyke and White (This is a training practice and consent may be sought for some consultations.)
Drs Sida, Clarke and Brown 
Drs Smethurst, Parton and Malpas

Surgery Opening Hours are Monday-Friday: 8.00 a.m. - 6.30 p.m.
