WHAT'S ON AT HOYLAKE LIBRARY

Baby Bounce and Rhyme
An interactive way for parents and carers to introduce their babies and toddlers to the library. Experience the fun of sharing nursery rhymes and singing action songs. Every Monday from 2.30pm. Baby changing facilities available. Ideally suited for babies and toddlers from 3 to 30 months. This event is held upstairs.

Library User Group
Meet on Monday or Thursday evening every three months from 6.00pm-7.00pm. New members welcome. Contact Library for Details.

‘In Stitches”
A friendly and informal group that offers encouragement and advice with knitting, crotchet, cross stitch, embroidery and sewing.
Everyone is made very welcome and refreshments are served.
The group meets every fortnight on a Saturday morning from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

MP Surgery
Esther McVey at Hoylake Library. 10.00am-11.30am on the third Saturday of the month. Telephone 632 1052 for an appointment.

Adult Book Group
The group meet on the first Monday of the month at 6.00pm. Contact Teresa Ashton 632 2754 if you would like more details.

Access Information
The building has automatic doors and the ground floor areas are fully accessible by wheelchair.
 
There is one computer desk which can be altered to accommodate a wheelchair, booking is advised. There is a disabled toilet.
 
A small reference section is available via a flight of steps. Staff will locate an item for customers unable to negotiate the stairs.
 
There is a Hearing Loop; switch hearing aid to channel T.
 
There is a small gated car park to the rear of the building for library users. Please note that staff and disabled users take priority. For Health and Safety reasons it may be necessary to close the gate at busy times. Please note that the gate is padlocked at the end of the day.
