Formed in the 1920’s, we performed at the YMCA in Hoylake for many years. Now known as Hoylake and West Kirby Theatre Group, we present various show each year at Westbourne Hall, West Kirby, the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight and occasionally at other venues on the Wirral.

We are an amateur group with aims to present pantomimes, plays and musicals for all, and to stimulate interest in the art and technique of all aspects of the theatre. We also arrange various social and fund-raising events for the members during the year, including Treasure Hunts, Barbecues, Discos and days out.

We endeavour, each year, to make regular donations to local charities.

We meet in the evenings during the week from Monday to Thursday, depending on the current production requirements.

We are based at Hoylake Community Centre, Hoyle Road, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 3AG. We have a rehearsal room on the top floor.

We welcome new members to the group. If you are interested in, or know of any person who may be, performing on the stage, directing, playing the piano, helping back- stage with props, scenery, lighting and sound, or front of house, or you can paint, sew, build, type, or help in any other way, then please get in touch.
