Hoylake Chamber Concert Society has been in existence since 1925 and was formed to engage professional musicians to play public classical music concerts in Wirral.

In recent years the society has been able to engage a succession of internationally renowned string quartets to perform at their concerts.  These quartets have come from places such as Munich, Prague, Moscow, Dublin and Eisenstadt.
