From September 2010, Birkenhead School for Girls becomes an independent Academy. This transition is an exciting time for the school and signals the next phase in its long history of commitment to excellence in education. It will continue to provide an outstanding education across all phases in all subjects, with mathematics and music being its two specialisms.
