A proper wine shop

Supermarkets do a reasonable job of selling a limited range of the usual suspects under special 'deals' that make you feel you are getting good value. Nothing particularly wrong with that but occasionally you fancy something different, more classy, perhaps going to friends for dinner? Adams is the place to go... lots of interesting wines, Adam is helpful and knows his stock well. Be prepared to spend at least £10+ for most of them, although you can also get some perfectly good wines here for £7-£8. As always, you get what you pay for and for the extra special occasions there are some real top notch wines here at £20+. Never had a dud.
