Locally, the club's main charity focus is Wirral Young Carers for which it provides sailing and golf days where young carers can challenge themselves, learn new skills, gain confidence and, most importantly, have some valuable 'me' time with their peers.  In addition, the club runs vocational projects for local school children of all ages, encouraging and rewarding their writing and speaking skills.
