Windsurfing has something for everyone, whether it is light wind cruising, high-speed blasting or huge soaring jumps. It’s great exercise, a huge amount of fun and you’ll be up and going in a matter of minutes.
Taster Courses
This 3 hour ‘have-a-go’ session will give you the opportunity to see what Windsurfing is all about and in a safe, fun environment. We also offer a range of two-day courses for both adults and juniors. From beginner classes to lessons for those who want to take windsurfing beyond the basics:
Start Windsurfing
Specifically created for those who are new to the sport of windsurfing.
Intermediate Courses
Designed for those who have completed a beginners course, and want to further their skills and knowledge. Options include:
- Non-Planing - the next step in windsurfing
- Planing - blasting in the straps and harness
- Non-planing Carve Gybes - the way to go
- Beach Starts - leave the shore in style

A Windsurfing Club especially for juniors aged 8-15, is operated during term time from April to October on Friday evenings from 5pm - 8pm. Please contact the Sailing Centre for more details.
